Touch Screen Remote Controlled PTC Heating Radiator for Rooms Up to 20 Square Metres

This 1500W electric heating radiator is designed for spot heating in domestic spaces, suitable for areas from 11 to 20 square metres. It utilises a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) ceramic heating element, a common technology in modern electric heaters known for its self-regulating properties. Operation is managed through a touch screen remote control, providing a digital interface for setting temperature and selecting from three fan speeds. The unit’s shaking head function aids in circulating the generated warm air, helping to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the room. With a noise level specified between 45-50dB, it offers a relatively quiet heating solution.

Features and Construction

The heater combines digital control with practical mechanical features to deliver adjustable warmth. Its core functionality is built around user-accessible settings for customising the heating experience to different needs and times of day.

Material and Build

As a household electrical appliance, the unit is constructed from materials suitable for its function, including a plastic and metal casing that houses the PTC heating element and fan assembly. The touch screen interface on the remote control provides the primary user interaction point, eliminating the need for physical buttons on the main unit. This design focuses on clear digital feedback for settings like temperature and timer duration.

Size and Practical Fit

With dimensions of 157mm in width and 253mm in height, the heater has a compact footprint, making it suitable for placement on floors, under desks, or in other limited spaces within its effective area. Its rated power of 1500W at 220V AC is a common standard for portable heaters targeting medium-sized rooms. The specified effective area range of 11 to 20 square metres gives a clear guideline for its intended use case.

Uses and Placement

The heater is intended for supplementary heating in residential settings. Its combination of features allows it to adapt to different scenarios, from providing background warmth to serving as a primary heat source in a smaller room.

Event or Professional Use

While primarily a domestic appliance, its portability and adjustable settings could suit occasional use in small office spaces, workshops, or other professional environments where additional, localised heat is needed. The over-eight-hour timer function allows it to be set for the duration of a workday or event without requiring manual intervention.

Everyday Home Use

In a home, this heater is ideal for heating a bedroom, study, or living area within its square metre capacity. The three fan speeds let users choose between a gentle background warmth and a more powerful setting for quickly raising the room temperature. The shaking head ensures the heat is not concentrated in one spot.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this heating radiator lies in its specific feature set that offers control and adaptability, paired with clear performance parameters for informed purchasing.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As an electric appliance with no consumables like gas or fuel, it is designed for reuse across multiple seasons. Maintenance is typically limited to keeping the air intakes and outlets free from dust. The digital controls and PTC element contribute to stable operation without frequent adjustment.

Why Choose This Product
